      Do you know if it works in Linux (through Wine)?

      Has Blizzard any intentions to release a Linux version?

      No matter how much I would love to have a native Linux version I don’t think that’s going to happen.

      I don’t actually know anything besides what the mentioned (in my second edit post) ars article says.

      Blizzard has historically made OpenGL engines making running the games under Wine considerably easier. Hopefully they follow this tradition for Diablo 3.

      My guess is that they use the OpenGL engine to render on OS X and if my guess is true then they will surely have one for Diablo 3.
