PicasaUploader 0.3: Batch Image Scaling/Resizing

I have just released version 0.3 of my PicasaWeb Uploader tool. The new things are:

  • High quality batch image resizing/scaling on the fly prior to upload.
  • Memory usage performance improvements.

Get it from (and also for more information): http://i-nz.net/projects/picasauploader

Is there a version for Debian-based distributions ? (using Ubuntu 9.04). I have the main Google Picasa program installed.

    Thanks,

    Jay
  • Hi there is no .deb package, but if you go on to the project page linked in this blog post you can get a .zip of the binaries. Just install Mono and it should work by running: mono PicasaUploader.exe

    Hi,
I get the error as displayed in this picture:
    http://www.imagebam.com/image/13e66d49577422

On clicking 'Yes' on the box, it stalls with the same error. Is there any additional package to be installed ?

    Thanks,

    Jay
  • You are running an old Mono version. Maybe there is a newer one for you here - http://www.mono-project.com/Other_Downloads#Ubuntu

P.S: I just tested PicasaUploader on Ubuntu 9.04 with a newer Mono and it works fine.
